Logical skills: part 1

I know you like to play games... I found one for you which combine this preference you have with another one, that is your passion for ancient Egypt. As a matter of facts this riddle has been found in a egyptian tomb!

Seven houses contain seven cats. Every cat kills 7 mice.
Each mouse would have eaten 7 ears of wheat.
Each ear of wheat would have produced seven unit of flour.

What is the total?

Mathematical skills: part 2

Let's go on with mathematics and logic ;)

What's the result if you sum the numbers from 1 to 100?
Can you get the result in a quicker way than summing one by one?

2.

Mathematical Skills: part 1

I Know you are a man of science and logic so let's start with few simple mathematical riddles

There is (at least) one number formed by 7 digits (which can be only 1,2,3,4,5,6,7). Each of those digits is present only once and the sum of 2 consecutive digits is equal to or the sum of the first 2 digits or to the sum of the last 2 digits.

What number is it? More than one solution is possible.
